JEANETTE EARLY

I served as National Historian for Gold Star Wives, 2020-2021, and I am interested in continuing this position for the upcoming year, 2021-2022. I joined Gold Star Wives in 1972. My husband, U.S. Army, Sergeant First Class Howard Lee Early, was killed on active duty in the Vietnam War on February 19, 1969. Our older son was 5, and twin sons were 4-years of age. I have held various positions in the GSW organization on National, Regional and Chapter levels, including National President, Southwest Region President, National Chaplain, and Denver Area Chapter President. I am a member of the Government Relations Committee and Secretary-Treasurer of the Denver Area Chapter. I am a retired high school Music Teacher. As a volunteer, I served on the Vietnam War 50th Commemoration Federal Advisory Committee in Washington, DC (2014-2019). I am a Community Educator in the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association; and an avid participant in events for Gold Star and Blue Star Families, Veterans and active Military in my community

Thank you in advance for your support.
