TRACY PEREZ-KOEHLMOOS Since 2011 I have been the widow of COL Randall “Moose” Koehlmoos, and in my day job I am a professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where I specialize in public health with an emphasis on health systems and policy. I am an Army veteran and the mother of three boys: CPT Robert Koehlmoos, Michael Koehlmoos, and Cadet David Koehlmoos. Four years ago, I substituted at the convention as Secretary and am thankful to have been elected secretary and served as secretary. Now that I know the rules and how to do the task, I am asking for your support to do it for another year. I have recently served as national Parliamentarian and Parliamentarian of the MidAtlantic Region and also as the past president of the Arlington Chapter. While serving as your secretary I kept minutes that needed little revision at our national meeting so that we could spend our time focusing on the important issues facing our organization. In order to make time to complete the minutes within 90 days of the national convention, I will aim to circulate a complete copy within 48 hours of the close of our meeting. (Before I become busy teaching during the Fall term.) I like taking the minutes and getting to know each of our members and her interests while doing this task. Like so many of you, I am called to serve our Nation, my community, and given the opportunity, my Sisters in Gold. |
