    National Veterans Day Celebration in Birmingham, Alabama

    November 10-11, 2025


    The Banquet is hosted by the National Veterans Day Foundation and will be held at the Sheraton Hotel, Birmingham Ballroom, on Monday, November 10.  Reception will begin at 5pm and dinner will begin at 6pm.  We already have purchased one-8 seat table.  Please help to ensure that we fill it with GSW members!   There are still a few seats left on the first table, but they are going quickly.  We can purchase another table but we would like to have enough members to fill it.  


    First come, first served for seats at the table already purchased.  Tickets before August 31st are $75.00.  Tickets purchased after that date will be $100.00.  All banquet reservations and ticket reimbursals need to go through Sandra Robertson (contact below).

    The parade will be on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th. We will have two (2) vehicles (at least) driving in the parade, so please make plans to "parade" with us if you are able.  The people of Birmingham turn out for this event!

    You will need to make your own hotel reservations.  The banquet is held at the Sheraton, 2101 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. N, Birmingham (35203), phone is 205.324.5000.  See link below.

    The Foundation which organizes this event has moved to electronic ticketing.  Please go to:  https://birminghamveteransdinner.swell.gives/  to purchase your tickets, which will be sent to you on-line.  When you are purchasing your ticket, remember to select Gold Star Wives as your organization from the drop down menu.  This is how the foundation will know to seat us together.
